Chapter 3 Exploring the New World

As I woke up this morning I looked out the door and saw this white stuff everywhere. When my human mom opened the door I was the first to jump right to see what this white stuff was. It was great. As I rolled around in it I seen that my human parents were laughing. I sure liked to bring them pleasure. They were the parents I wanted to stay with and I was trying to learn every word that they said. They called this white stuff snow. I had it all over my nose and they picked me up and smiled. My fur was they same color the snow was. It was so deep that they could only see my black nose barreling through it. I had three siblings and we played and rolled in the cold white stuff. They dried us off when we came back in. These humans were really nice and took such good care of me. After my nap I began to explore the world around me and by my human parents faces I could tell when I was good and bad. I tried my hardest to please them but being a pup and new to this world I learned quickly that there were things I could chew on and things I couldn't. I didn't mind anything they said because I loved them unconditionally and even after they scolded me I came right up with my tail wagging and they welcomed me with open arms. Boy this new world was great. I told them with a strange noise that came from my mouth. It was a squeaking bark. Its funny but I knew what they were saying but I could not speak words like they did. Oh well as long as we could understand each other life here would be swell.
